I had initially thought to do a Turbo Doodle tribute video, but that seemed like too much effort.
Me: Drawing a game sketch!
Actual Me: I'm too lazy, better roll around in the snow for 5 minutes....

don’t you have forumites to work on?

I expect royalties on all your sweet YouTube ad revenue. I will spend the next 10 years of my life penning manifestos against you and GameHuggers until I get my $500.

Lol, I expect royalties for use of my sexually molested audio.
Also, PCE deals? What? Even in Japan where I live, the stuff is butt rape expensive. In my town I DO find stuff, but normally it's like the random shit sports game that no one wants. It's pretty picked over.
I have given up and moved onto collecting something I can actually afford. OG Gameboy! lol

Haha, I knew you'd find a way to throw in gameboy games. Even cooler, those are all region free right? So you can get US and JPN games and play 'em on the same Super Game Boy! ;)
When I journey your way, I definitely will be looking to pick up a Super GameBoy 2. Also, if I find a couple sports PCE games, I'll nab 'em. Because then I can finally say "I picked up a new PCE game IN JAPAN!"

GB Cosmo Tank for the win!

Oh you want some shitty sports games? I am sure we can find those... as for the Super Game Boy 2, I had to order one from a dude. Maybe they are around. I haven't seen one though. I don't mean to sound negative though. You can find PCE games still... It's just rare in my neighborhood.

Ah man, yet another game I need to check out!

I guess I do too, since a local game shop has "Taken it up the Hoop" for $25, lol...
-
"The Wild" was sort of relevant 1990-2007, which was probably the last time I stumbled upon Turbo on the shelf. In a post-collector world, we need to redefine the term to include any website that's not ebay, Amazon, craigslist, or Facebook.

So..... Yahoo Japan auctions? :cook:
-
Are those still a thing?

Well right now, YAJ proxys are letting buyers know of shipping issues, so I'd say they're not a "thing" right now. Just one more notch on the bedpost for Covid.

I actually found some stuff at a local media shop at a decent price maybe, 6 months ago at this point? They always price loose and complete stuff the same so if I find complete games it is normally a really good price, especially if it's Turbo or 16-bit in general.
Got a Splatterhouse and a Devil's Crush and traded them to a friend for some other games I didn't have but wanted.
