Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any favourite co-op games for the PCE that they'd like to share? I think a few of my top picks personally would be Bonanza Bros, Cadash, Be Ball, and Dungeon Explorer I & II! But given how large the library is, I'm sure there must be other great co-op games people like to play with friends. Any suggestions?

Besides some already listed, I dig Bonk 3, Sapphire, Magicoal, and 1943.

Besides what has been mentioned. Monster Lair, Mystic formula , Demon World, Mega twins, Splash lake, Buster Bros, Dragon Saber, Aero Blasters, Parisol Stars, Tecmo Super Soccer. I know there are others but these were the 1st that came to mind.

Some of my favorite games that include multiplayer are ones I never got to play until I no longer had anyone willing to try them with me.
So these are the only co-op games I can remember enjoying with others:
Dungeon Explorer
Dungeon Explorer II
Monster Lair -probably the most fun
Aeroblasters

It's too bad Tecmo Super Soccer is limited to two players (From what I read anyways). Seems like an ideal game for 4~5 player party!

I picked up Downtown Nekketsu Koshinkyoki Soreyuke Daiundokai (the blue CD case one) on a lark a few years ago, and it seems to be fun with 4 players (sadly, I've never had the pleasure of three friends to play along with). It's not so much co-op, but you do all play the foot race together rather than a sports versus game.

Downtown Nekketsu Koshinkyoki Soreyuke Daiundokai is really fun!
Yes, tecmo Super soccer is just 2 player and not co op. My mistake. I was mixing it up with J-LEAGUE TREMENDOUS SOCCER '94 which is up to 4 player.

Buster Bros/Pomping World, Aero Blasters, Riot Zone, Bomberman (any version), Monster Lair, Dungeon Explorer 1 & 2, Bonk 3
-
Riot Zone? I wish!
-
Parasol Stars, Bomberman 93/94, Chiki Chiki Boys, Salamander, Street Fighter II and Fatal Fury Special
-
I've played Double Dungeons co-op a few times and it's been fun. The first dungeon is small enough that we can both eventually find the boss together.

In addition to what has already been listed....
I have to say, in the last few months I have had a lot of fun playing HORROR STORY co-op. Prior to this, I had only played this game solo.
My ten-year old daughter is the only person who is willing to play this game with me, and the game has a lot of creative stuff going on (for a "run-n-gun", anyway... GRAB A BALLOON and float-steer your way to safety... in a run-n-gun!)

I have no fucking clue why I said Riot Zone. Lol. I never once played it co-op and there is no co-op. :-k

Downtown Nekketsu Koshinkyoku Soreyuke Daiundokai is the most fun I've had with more than 2 players! It's not co-op but I can really recommend it.
Otherwise I usually end up playing Monsters Lair or Sapphire.
