I've been wanting to have this as game of the month for a while. This is probably my favorite 2 player game. I spend a ton of summers rocking out this game. This will be a fun one for this month. Sorry it's a tad late. Hope you all enjoy. Time to travel the world!

I've been getting a few plays in, but I can't get past 7-x without continues.  I suck.....

Have any of you beaten it 1cc, accessed the hidden levels, and gotten the good ending?

I got to Antarctica last night on 1 credit. I think the beers take the edge off and I do better.  :mrgreen:

When I traded my US copy for Pomping World, I noticed that the few seconds after popping the last bubble til the cut scene is much shorter on the JP version. Has anyone else observed this? It only causes a problem if you wanted to grab left over power ups or kill and extra enemy for more points right at the end of the stage.

I'm trying to 1cc it so see this mythical "good" ending but I get to greedy with score and take unnecessary risks.

Yeah majors I noticed that as well. However I have only been playing the US version.

The bombs are great for points, but there are plenty of times you don't want to grab them. Getting those bombs on accident is what kills me the most. Or sometimes those damn tiny ones, coming at me from out of no where.  LOL. Anyone in here ever have like only 1 bubble left to shoot only to have it kill you? Haha. Then the rage happens.

A few more plays haven't improved things much for me.  Though I can make it a bit past Russia now, I'm still a long way from a 1cc.  Two player is my only hope!

Yeah I still couldn't get passed Antarctica. I'll still keep trying though even with it now being July. Speaking of I'm a day late for July GotM. Time to get to work!
