Title: Tennokoe Bank card problem
Post by: Colt on July 06, 2021, 11:54:23 PM
Hi, I have a turbo duo that works fine and has no issues saving into the hard drive. However, I cannot use my tennokoe bank card to transfer the saves from the pc engine to it, and I get an error message.

I used google translate to look at it and it translated to "The PC engine itself is out of order.  Turn off the power and check the backup memory connection, AC adapter connection, card insertion status, etc."

What is the problem here? Could it be that the card doesn't connect properly? I usually have to reinsert it because it gives me a white screen sometimes.

Dirty / corroded contacts maybe?  I could see that if there's a pin(s) that games don't normally use but the tennokoe does.  Have you given it a good scrubbing?

Sounds like it to me.

But I barely use the one Tennokoe that I have, but maybe someone can chime in if there is an error if all 4 sluts are filled that this problem the OG poster reported.
