Another Working Designs port. This is one I can't remember when the last time I played it was. Way back in the day I do remember comparing the Genesis/MD one with the TG16 as well as the arcade. TG16 I remember being kind of it's own game with the MD version being more like the Arcade. Regardless of that I like the look of the TG16 version a bit more. I don't have a lot more to say on it cause it's been so long. I look forward to playing it this month. Enjoy!

Funny you should mention this, I just fired this up not too long ago on Fightcade. Fun times playing online multiplayer..

You mean "not play as the ninja" :)

That is a good idea, to explore more chars...I think I never beat it with the Mage or Priestess. This is another good pick, looking forward to it. And it's on the Mini so I can bring it up to Connecticon this weekend and play in the hotel.

TED on the express has made it so convenient to play this I already got further in it than I did Exile ( I still plan on getting through exile, but harder to get to a tv these days)

That first water pit is a death trap.

I tried the mage on my first run just now, and I think that was a mistake. I will give the Ninja a shot on my next run

Oohh!  I only have this in Japanese, and never played thru it!  Maybe this will give me an excuse to revisit using a TED?

Great pick and super cool!  I will try my best to get to it, and if I do I'll record it via OBS or maybe stream it on TWITCH. :D

I know, there is a rather large number of amazing obey piles that I've yet to have played thru sadly. :( This is in that pile..  But I have no problem playing thru Cosmic Fantasy 2, Loom, and Order of the Griffon, ahahaha

Today I played through as the fighter (with TORU again) and he's my least favorite.  He's decent early on, as he can take and deliver a serious punch, but eventually his limited range blows.  Also, he has way more shit to buy, requiring more grinding for monies.

Finally made time to get some play in with the mage. Died pretty early on the 2nd boss due to me rushing things...I forgot about the continue code, but it was good enough for me for the night. Even though it's late in the month, I MUST get at least on clear! Maybe I should enlist the help of TORU :)

When the Kraken is killed, isn't the girl supposed to be freed? My priestess slew the monster but she preferred to stay tied to the sacrificial pole.

I finished and played through as the fighter. Man, I don't remember the game being this hard. I tried to get my son to play with me but he wasn't into it. I compared the WD version I own with the JP version and it didn't seem like WD fucked with the game much at all. It didn't seem any more difficult.
