Ok, time to grab 2022 by the balls and not be a pussy! We're gonna start off with another shooter. Tatsujin! I love and hate this game cause it's hard as balls but such a good shooter on the pc-engine. This is a fantastic port and worthy to be played on the pc-engine! Lets all yell and scream in frustration together and post some scores! Tweek you better put up a fucking score! This gotm is for you. I don't even think you have an account here setup. Lol. Sorry necro. Another shooter this year!

There's no way on this earth that I'd be able to clear this one. I do like throwing it on to listen to its tunes though. They sound way better than the clangy arcade and MD versions. Buttery smooth grooves up in there.

Tats is brutal. I had some free time so I played some of the arcade(MAME), Genny and the PCE ports. It does seem to be a faithful port but at least the arcade gives me unlimited continues :) not that it helps that much with it being a check point shooter. I'll still hammer at it for the rest of the month, maybe learn some patterns. I'm also gonna abuse the hidden options to tone down the difficulty :)

I was discussing the challenging STG with a friend, and he relayed to me that they respect the game but they agree that it's just too damn hard...so he sold his PCB of it. He also had the PCB of Truxton 2 but sold it for the same reason...part 2 is even more challenging.

I've been playing this some, off and on throughout the month and I'm still absolutely terrible at it, haha.

Got to area 3 boss but that's as far as I got. Time to move onto the next GotM that won't make us cry.
