Apparently, Bonk's Revenge VC is rated 'E' for "Comic Mischief" and "Tobacco Reference".

What's the tobacco reference? The pirate boss?
I'm guessing that "Comic Mischief" refers to the physically deformed cave boy murdering everyone he encounters by beating them to death with his own oversized melon. :P
-
Haha, I don't remember any tobacco references in any Bonk games. First one to find the reference wins!
-
Maybe the Nuclear Bonk.......I don't know ](*,)
-
It has got to be Captain Cook, or whatever his name is-- yeah, that's the pirate boss.
I'm pretty sure he has a cigar hanging out of his mouth.
I wonder how they would rate Splash Lake? That game glorifies smoking! It features a "cool" badass wearing "cool" shades smoking a cigarette!! Not to mention he's a stump. Come to think of it, that guy might be the coolest video game enemy. Ever.
-
That little tree stump IS the coolest enemy in any video game. 8) I wanna be just like him when I grow up.
-
Doesn't the princess give Bonk a kiss in one or more of the games?
If so, they should add another warning for "Beastiality" or "Inter-Species Erotica".
Which all together would look pretty freaking cool:

Warnings for other games:
Final Fight: Violence
Castlevania: Fantasy Violence
Ordyne: Mild Cartoon Violence
Altered Beast: Animated Violence
Bio-Hazard Battle: Mild Fantasy Violence
Bravoman: Cartoon Violence
Dungeon Explorer: Alcohol Reference + Animated Blood + Mild Fantasy Violence
Sonic the Hedgehog: NO WARNING -not even Comic Mischief. I guess Bonk's the one with 'attitude' now.
Wario's Woods: MILD ANIMATED VIOLENCE!
Dragon's Curse: Mild Fantasy Violence + Use of Tabacco
You don't think they're refering to the kind pig who volunteers his time to help out at the local church do you?

I always thought it was totally messed up how there was romance between Bonk and that space seal thing.

Keranu FTW. That sentence is utterly hilarious on sooooo many levels.

Princess Za is rather goofy looking. I think that she should look a little more like.....

LOL! I didn't even think about how that smoking pig hangs in the shops AS WELL as the church! So not only is he selling you weapons, presumably stolen weapons, but he's also a damn fine minister. That pig kicks major ass. 8)

Thankfully there's no Amiga game for the VC (yet). Have a look at the ending screenshots.
Wonder Boy 2 (http://hol.abime.net/1750/screenshot) (warning: French language)
-
Better put Cosmic Fantasy 2 on the same Video game anit-establishment/anit-Vulgarity Congressional legislature that the Grand Theft Auto series is associated with.
My son might never get to see daffy duck blow his own face off with a shotgun, but I'll be a sumbitch if he doesn't get to see Babette in the shower!

This is kind of a side thought, but wasn't the original Japanese CF2 uncensored for Babette's shower scene?
-
Yeah the Japanese version is uncensored.
-
No, it turns out that the shower scene in the game, is indeed censored, but, on the Cosmic Fantasy Visual Collection, it's not! I have both. Originally, I only had the visual collection, which led to some debate, since I figured that's just the way it was in the game itself.

I believe that the PCE version is the same as the WD version and that t was only the Vosual Collection that had it 'uncensored'.

Oh right, I guess that's what I was confused with! I remember nodtveidt posted a screenshot comparison of the censored and uncensored versions. If I recall, the colors were a little different too in the uncensored shot.
-
Yeah, I too seem to recall the colors being slightly different.

Awesome. Also, they spelled "Tobacco" wrong! They have "Tabacco"... unless that's the official spelling for the Bonk mythos.
