Did Naxat Soft do Alzadick?  I know they did Recca for Summer Carnival '92, but I wasn't sure if they did both.

Yeah Naxat released Alzadick and Nexzr which were both par of the summer carnival series

Naxat is just a publisher, though.

Nexzr, for example, was developed by KANEKO. I don't have Alzadick so I'm not sure about that one.

I know I should look this up... but, off the top of my head, didn't Kaneko develop Air Buster/Aero Blasters?

Yes.

Kaneko did Air Buster, Nexzr, and Super Star Soldier.

quick tip for high scores, clear out enemies sets as fast as possible and black diamonds will appear on the scree, clear their whole set out for big points. Also make sure to clear a whole set of enemies out because if you leave one flying around it'll delay the next set from coming in.

Oh, there's an old Alzadick high scores thread?  I should post my scores in it!  They're not the best, but I love the game, so at least they're not the worst on that high score table either. :p

I'll post screenshots if anyone wants them, I took a few.

Practice (2 minute): 270100 - Can anyone get much more than this on this stage?

Score Attack (2 minute): 503950

Time Attack (5 minutes to get 1 million points): 4:30:90

Shubibinman's scores are impressive.  3:42... not sure if I'll ever match that.  I just got this 4:30 time though, which was an improvement over my previous best, so there is that. :)

Naxat is just a publisher, though.

Nexzr, for example, was developed by KANEKO. I don't have Alzadick so I'm not sure about that one.

Did Naxat not develop any of its own games or something, you mean?  Or did they?

Anyway, going by Mobygames, Alzadick has five people named there who worked on it, and all five went on to also work on Kaze Kiri, if that's any help.  Maybe Naxat internal?

I know.

LeFrenchies put me to shame. DAMN. Look at the top score. In still trying to figure out how I could do things differently to even get anywhere near that score. DAMN.

Yes, I have to say that I'm too humble at times  8)

But no, these guies are not fictitious, we've organized a nationwide caravan session with almost 40 contenders (10 in Paris, etc.). It was a great time. I'll post some pics or even some vids soon  :)

I don't know how to use the built-in image host.  It's too limited to bother with when there's so many free yet robust image hosts to choose from (flickr, imgur, etc.).

I wasn't being snippy or sarcastic.  I seriously don't know exactly how direct attachments work, as you'll often run into errors even when you meet the 'allowed file types' and 'restrictions' listed.  Like your error: how could your folder be full when you hadn't even posted any pics yet?  It's nonsensical errors like that that made me give up and advocate using external hosts years ago.

As for your question about your folder: there aren't any that I can see in my personal profile, others' profiles, or in the admin only areas.  Perhaps only Mr. Nanto can see 'em.

edit - I did find a list of attachments under your profile ('show posts', then click on 'attachments') but there's only one in there and it's a mere 33kb.  Surely that one little pic isn't enough to fill your folder, so I don't know what advice to give.
