It was a really cool weekend. They packed the room tight, they are going to need more space next year. Lots of cool pinballs and early 80s vid all restored. There was several rare exidy games lined up all fixed up that were really cool to see together. I brought my 2 astros and there were 2 blast cities there as well. There were people on the candies the whole time and a lot of people said they liked Daioh which I was surprised. I had 4 monitors set up with PCFX, PCE, Fami, Saturn and I swapped out one for a Supergrafx. PCFX was very popular with Zenki.
There were a couple other consoles there as well but it was a lot of kids playing them. The event was ran by an older crowd so there were a lot of pins and earyl 80s games mainly but this year drew in a lot more younger people than last year who were interested in the vintage stuff and the fighters and candy cabs. Next year I plan on being even more involved and bring in even more consoles and have a little section for them. Maybe even start a real south Turbo Fest for once. The people involved are so passionate and kept all the machines so nice. I really see this taking off and becoming a bigger name in arcade cons in the US.
Here's a nice video walk through, you see my astros and consoles within the first couple minutes.
