In Brazil we speak Blanka, Honda, Chun-Li, Ken and Ryu correctly by default (similar japanese pronunciation), but everything else on street fighter II is mispronounced, character names, announcer speech, move names, etc. which is a product of kids + crappy cabinet speakers + not knowing english. For example,
Guile = Gully
M. Bison = Mister Beezom
Tiger Uppercut = Tiger Robocop
Sonic Boom = Alec Foo
Tatsumakiszxvczxvzcaku = ah tek tek toogi (

) (and several variations -- I can't blame anyone, I still can't hear Tetsumaki Senpuu Kyaku after all these years, how the hell Ryu say it so fast?)
these and other bizarre intepretations are classics for anyone who played in one of the inumerous
botecos (always with an arcade cab or two in the 90's) and game centers across the country. Of course now that basic english is somewhat commonplace no one hears SF2 like that anymore.

Misc stuff:
(Super)NES = NESSSS/SNESSS (hi arkhan)
Genesis = Mega Drive (aka Merda Drive, lit. Shit Drive -- kinda appropriate name for the video palette)
