Check out http://www.tg16pcemods.com/ the guy goes by Turbokon on here. Not sure if he's taking new mod work, or has any items for sale. But certainly worth asking him.
I had Turbokon mod my Express with a 3.5" screen and haven't had any issues with it.
He isn't doing mods anymore. I asked him already.
Keith Courage did mine last year and I love it makes such a huge difference compared to the stock screen. I recently recapped a stock TE and while the original screen is amazing for it's time I can't play on it.
If you need guidance let me know I have an idea how the mod is done plus I can take mine apart. Keep in mind that the mod is composite video so it won't be a razor sharp RGB picture but much better than the stock screen.
