Doesn't look like a new game per se, but rather a port of the original.  If I had a PSP, I might care, but I don't (though they're mighty tempting with all their PCE remakes).

Same here. I thought the original on the pce was alot fun but I just don't get excited over remakes. They don't always turn out so good.

My philosophy on remakes: If the original game is good, leave it be. Only games with good potential should be remade so they can get the execution they deserve.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Lunar Silver Star Story was significantly improved when that was remade and translated to English....but Working Designs has gone the way of the dinosaur....

You are talking about the Saturn/Playstation remake? That's debatable  . I preferred the original, but I could see that being a game that could've benefitted from a remake in a few ways. Cosmic Fantasy 2 is a game that I always thought was very deservable of a remake since it had such a fantastic story, but lacked the polish it deserved as well as the limits it was facing.

So this game Cho Aniki is fun (the original)? It always looked like a game you should only play using a Turbo Pad and a 6 foot pole!

I had lunar silver star for sega cd; it kicked ass! The story and game play were really good, I would give them a silver star rating! lol! The music was also fantastic!
