Anyways here is how I reccomend modding, use this diagram (not mine):



Install a minijack connector:



Note - the connector is where it says "power"

and you just plug this into the box and the other end into your TV or stereo




Overall the best solution for getting the audio in my opinion.

Personally I'd try to mount some RCA jacks rather than having wires dangling out of the thing.
