Vertical Force vs Star Soldier series

Hey everyone,

I'm been looking up games to buy for Virtual boy. One game that interests me is Vertical Force, which is very similar to the Star Soldier games. In it, you can change your altitude, and customize controls. Has anybody played it? Is it actually a Star Solider game?

Officially it's not part of the SS series.  But it has the Soldier feel for sure.  Game wise it's quite a bit of fun, though the 3D gimmick could have been better used.  Still, if you are going to own a virtual boy, it's very cheap and one of the best games on the system.

$70 for a complete copy, and only a 100 being made? I don't know. I might just have it on emulation. I want to have all the cheapie games first. ;)
