Who cares if friends and family kick-in funds to be matched by the Ouya company? The whole point was to get new and exclusive games to their platform.

How would they expect something to stay exclusive that long in the first place? You Ouya platform is ANDROID-based for crying out loud!

The belief was that their friends and family (and the devs themselves under aliases) would get their money back from the dev eventually, meaning Ouya would end up being the only real investor.

It was a nice idea for the Ouya console people to do that, but too bad some a$$holes tried to f*ck them in the end..  :(

For the record, how many of you have had quality time with the console?  I've had one (borrowed) for over a week in my living room and find it to be a pretty nice (inexpensive) alternative.

I use mine for emulation mainly.  I have bought a few things, but I am waiting on Old Rover to release his stuff on it too.

That football game looks absolutely terrible.  No way they are getting that much money per investor for a sports game of all genres.  Way better stuff on kick starter to support.
Gypsies did it.
