Selling PS2 stuff, need suggestions
« on: November 05, 2014, 01:44:02 AM »
I have a PS2, a game, two controllers, and two memory cards I am looking to sell.
I feel I have three options basically.

1) take to local resale shop, bend over the counter, and let them give it to me real good...
2) sell everything together on eBay as a package
3) sell the different items separately on ebay

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on going one way or the other?
I have even thought of going to one resale shop, having them give me a price, turn it down, then put that as my reserve for everything on eBay. Then I know I will at least get that from SOMEONE. Just not sure if I can get more out of it if I part it out.

There are a couple options, you could try selling on the forum here, or try your luck on CL as well.

If none of that pans out I would sell the game and cards separately on ebay since it can be shipped cheap, then sell the PS2 + controllers  to the shop or start it at 99c online with actually shipping.  To me, getting stuff out of my house right away with cash in hand is worth giving up the extra dollar or whatever one might make on ebay.

And I agree, I like having cash in hand over dealing with eBay. And I am leary of craigslist.
