Japanese magazine scans (and translation)
« on: January 14, 2009, 01:44:10 PM »
Hi, folks.  Some of you might know about my page already, but I'll post the link to my "secret" page which has scans and interesting information from classic Japanese videogame magazines.

http://www.disgruntleddesigner.com/chrisc/secret.html

I updated my page last night with a translation of a comic series that ran in Famicom Tsushin.  Check it out!

Good job Chris! I enjoyed reading the translated comic. I also had no idea what it was like to be a Japanese game publicist. Looked like fun though, lol.

Chris, I've been out of the loop and was delighted to read the Famitsu comic. Rock on. :)

There has to be a ROM of that canned proposed side scrolling Batman game floating out there somewhere....

And for how the music sounded in that Pac Man clone final product, the BGM would've fit it perfectly.

Hi Chris, if you're going to translate anything please do the prototype Super Famicom article. I know you have a lot of notes on it but it would be great to have a full translation :D

All your scans are amazing. Thanks for sharing them with us :)
