Fortress of Fear on gameboy was awesome when I was a kid!

I never knew there was a Gameboy installment.

And it was good, you and Arkhan say...

Damn. I don't have enough time on this planet to play all the games I missed out on.

Keep in mind it was one of my favorite games when I was 7...  I haven't touched it since.  I am going to pick it up at the flea market next time I go and give it a spin.

Wizards and Warriors: Fortress of Fear for the gameboy is not quite as good as I remember it.  The sword attack feels weak and doesn't give any impression of being a warrior. Also, the spring like jumping is kinda odd, and is a straange design choice.

However, I will admit the graphics do have their charm.  Also, the game does feel like wizards and warriors, I especially like the text in the game. Lastly, I am a big fan of the music.  I am going to try again to beat this game, but I don't think I will be successful, it is very difficult to control.

If it crosses my path, I'll pick up W&W for Gameboy. I love playing installments that I never knew about. I overlooked a lot of Gameboy games, because, hey, it was the stupid Gameboy and I didn't consider it worthwhile back in the day.

I was a console-chauvinist, what can I say?
