Yeah, and GameStop near me has shit all over themselves to give up PSP space for the Vita.  The only bonus is that a lot of PSP games are dirt cheap now.

I've noticed Gamestop is clearing out their PS2 games for really cheap prices (usually loose, though).  It seems like every time I've walked into one lately I've walked out with at least 3 PS2 games (buy 2 get one free) - usually for about $5.  Maybe it's about time I bite the bullet and get a PSP while the games are readily available and cheap.

I actually wasn't overly excited about this game.  I mainly was getting it, due to it being one of the very last physical PSP games released.  Oh well, there's still Gungir & Growlanser 4 coming out in a couple months.  I'm not sure if those are the last 2 or not.

Since people seem to be getting rid of PSP games, I've discovered many great games that I never knew anything about, & getting them dirt cheap, mostly off of Amazon, with a few on half & ebay.  My PSP collection has greatly overtaken my DS collection.  But ofcorse, just all the english released Falcom games are worth getting a PSP for...well, maybe with exception to 3 of the 4 Legend of Heroes games, since Namco/Bandai butchered them pretty good, but the Trails in the Sky one is flawless.

I also think the PSPs current marketplace situation certainly contributed. VanillaWare wasn't going to reap big royalties on a PSP game released in the US in 2012

My local Gamestop has quite a few marked around 5-10 dollars, and a few good titles like Lunar and Gradius collection. My buddy just gave me his old PSP so as soon as I get a charger I'm hitting them up.

No shit. Super Robot Wars Z2 Saisei-hen just sold 300,000 on PSP last month in Japan. In the US...can you even buy anything for PSP in department stores? Last time I looked it was all shitty 1st party stuff like SOCOM or sports crap and stupid EA driving games. It was that way for YEARS with just...nothing coming out.
