I am making progress slowly. The bricks are probably the most difficult thing in terms of the math. As far as my process goes, it's basically tracing over every pixel manually. Of course I trace each material in a different style. Bricks are more jaggy, metal is longer and sleeker but the source material is god. I will know I have done my job will if I am able to reduce the number of pixels in my final image and the resulting image matches the source one.
