Amagon's issue is there are alot of cheap/stupid deaths that are practically unavoidable.  It doesn't match the stupid cartoony presentation of the game at all.

You're better off playing Toki or Clash at Demonhead since it's not as cheaped out.

This thread made me decide to play some NES.

First, I beat Mario 3.  I recommend you do the same.

Then I played hours of Qix and couldn't get anywhere in that f*cking unforgiving game.

I don't think I ever played the NES version of Qix. Or, if I have, it hasn't been for 15+ years...

I almost suggested that game, actually.    But it's not really fun to watch someone play it.
