detailed HuC6280 signal analysis

Hi, an acquaintance in Japan, Kentaro, has analyzed the signal activity on the CPU's pins for the full set of opcodes (I've just stumbled upon it.)  The page is in Japanese, but for those into this thing, the signal dumps are easily understood.

Here's hoping for a cycle-accurate SuperGrafx-plus-CD-in-an-FPGA someday.

cycle accurate PCE requires 2 more chips, but 6260 is simple enough
add 1 more chip for SGX
add 1 more for cd system

Yes, doing lots of different things at once is exactly what an FPGA excels at.

There's already a PCE FPGA core that runs on the MiST and Altera boards, but it's not fully "accurate", and AFAIK, doesn't play every HuCard properly.

There's no PCE CD support that I know of, but I might have missed some continued development.

my point wasnt that you need 3 chips, just you need to properly map 3 chips (4 for SGX)

Turns out there is a PCE FPGA core over here.  I think this is what Elmer was talking about.
