Cross you wrists and try playing a game with opposite hands on a joystick you already own before you consider buying a left handed joystick, let alone one with an unfortunate topper. Or plan to always use the SMS stick with your wrists crossed (what I did bitd).

I am just STOOPID enough to get one of these.

But seriously, is it top-heavy?

If it has some weight/heft to the base.... I am kinda curious.

I want the phaser SMS. Maybe the control stick (what is that?)
Low and behold the sega control stick...

Damn. I forgot about that. What game benefits from that? Don't lie. Is it useless?

hmmmm.... is it in fully functional condition? I think I want that crapper. But tell me your honest thoughts on it.

I've never used this thing.

Honestly it has it's advantages and disadvantages.
It's great for playing hang on, out run and any racing game.
It's way easier to control the car/bike with this than with the d-pad.
However, it's shit for any non-racing game because the buttons are on the wrong side lol so I find it uncomfortable toplay a platformer with this thing, but its nice to play racing games.
It's in fully working condition

Say what? I always thought they were USA releases that with our laws over here had to be bilingual on the printed pieces. Sega or who ever was liecenced to do the box and manuals had to whip up and find room for the French to go. You see a lot of good but a lot of bad results in the end and still do in Canada today.

Edit: TGmaniac I will get back to you on our deal today, it was my birthday yesterday, I was making merry. :)

Free bump since your thread reminded me that I still wanted a copy of Metroid yellow myself.

I got mine from ebay however, so no hard feelings.

Yup we got PAL releases here in Canada because of that law that has to have french on the packaging. Rather than making a whole new insert with english and french, they just used the euro PAL ones since there was already english, french, and the other languages were a free bonus i guess lol. Another interesting fact is we got more games released in Canada that never made it to the US, for example dynamite dux, tennis ace, outrun 3d, etc. These were euro releases with Canadian barcode stickers. It's funny to think why they did the things they did back then lol.
and Happy Birthday Sparky! Mine is in 3 days, we're both virgo's lol
