HUcard black band width?
« on: June 21, 2002, 03:24:00 AM »
I've just been looking through my stack of turbochips, And realized that the black bands before the connector pins are 2 different sizes. Most of the smaller bands are on older games, so does this have to do with rom image size?

Also, while on the subject of turbochips, do you know what kind of rom IC a pc engine/duo would use, and what IC pin to connect to what card pin? I've been planning on messing around with a demo or something, but I don't know where to start...

I can answer your first question - Yes, the rom size is directly proportional to the size of the "black band width"...2, 4, 8, etc.... Aaron Nanto
