PCEngine GT Replacement Controller Board

(1/2) > >>

tawy:
Hello,

A couple month ago, I was looking for a replacement controller board for my freshly acquired PCEGT.
Without any news from Turbokon who had the original idea, I decided to make one by myself and here it is !

The D0~3 lines are diode protected with 4x 1N4148WT/SOD523, a external controller mod is theoretically possible from the pads on the back of the board (not tested).
I tried to make it looks like the original board plus some cool pictures  8)

There are some issues :
The comlink connector is not working.
LCD shutoff is disabled > pin 8 grounded.
The jack connector is a little bit too thick, you have to file your PCEGT or to swap the one from your damaged board to this one.

25?

Thank you

PM sent and will be dealing with Tawy for two of these boards!!!

6 boards sent until now and everybody seems to use thoses flawlessly.
On the Turbo Express the boards seems to fit without the need to file the hole (maybe there is another revision of the pcegt mold with a different design).
