WTB: Authentic PCE LT Display Unit - broken or working
« on: February 16, 2024, 04:43:42 AM »
I'd really love to get my LT back to the living after decades, but as recorded here I'm having an issue with the display controller of my LCD unit.

So if by chance someone here had one in spare - no matter if broken or not - I'd be very happy to hear from you ^^

Sry, noticed your response a bit late. Unfortunately I'm not on FB.

Is the problem actually your LCD/screen?

Usually when LTs have display issues it's due to bad Capacitors or other components on the board getting damaged because of the leakage and needing replacement.

Yeah it's definitely a display issue, the display driver board to be exact. I'd documented the whole journey here.

I was hoping that there should be several stock displays lying around in drawers since there seems to be quite an excitement for replacing those with modern IPS displays.
