Right now, Super Bonk 2 comes to mind, I'm sure I'll think of something else, but, for now, Super Bonk 2.

Saturn Bomberman, without question. That will go down in history as the ultimate 2D bomberman.

Aww crap, you're right, I forgot about that.  #-o

One of the Bulk Slash games, maybe part 2, ran at an ultra smooth framerate.  I remember thinking "wow this looks as smooth as Virtua Fighter 2" back when I first played it.  I swear it was 60fps, anyway though it was really, really nice looking.

Bulk Slash Part 2?? Does this actually exist? I have never heard of a sequal, but I'd be very happy if there was one.

As for Bulk Slash's price, the game had a SataCore release, so its fairly common.  I bought my mint copy of the original print from play-asia about a year ago for $40.  Right now on Ebay theres a Sealed copy of the SataCore release BIN for $63, not too bad in my opinion.

You're right, I don't know why I thought there was a part 2.  I think it's because I remembered seeing a part 2 announced or something back in the day, but obviously it never came out if it was.

What is Bulk Slash? I've never heard of it, it sounds like something a supermarket would do to the prices of bad meat or something...

Favorite Hudson game not on PCE:

Faxanadu - NES

My grandma gave this to us for xmas -- she randomly chose it! Amazing, since she often chose LJN's stuff...

Runner up:

Adventure Island - NES

One of the first NES games I became obsessed with. I still love this game.

I still haven't played SAI2 for SNES, even though GUTS told me how great that game is a long time ago.

Favorite Hudson game in the modern era:

Ninja 5-0 - GBA

I have to thank Nemo for telling me about this since I have never spent much time with my GBA or exploring its library.

I'd probably say Tengai Makyou IV or III or something, but I consider those RED games.

T&C's Surf Design, while having the most misleading name since it lacks and editor, has one of the most awesome music tracks ever on the NES (The in-game NES-punk-rock track, god that song kicks so much ass).

I had that game. Wasn't it a paintball game? Crap, or maybe a bunch of mini-games and I only played the paintball part? I don't remember the soudtrack, I'll have to give it a listen now! :)

The sequel might have been paintball, but I'm talking about T&C Surf Design: Wood and Water Rage, which was just skateboarding and surfing. I'll upload the MP3 later today, anyway. ;)

T&C Surf Designs is one of the most fun and addicting games ever made! Well the skateboarding part at least, I never really got into the surfing.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).
