Hudson shits out games almost as fast as Bandai. They make a *ton* of stuff. Ever hear of Mario Party? Hudson made most if not all of them.

They simply aren't the company they used to be though, now they are pretty much an imprint for Konami. Still, good stuff comes out once in a while.

My favorite semi-recent game from them is Bomberman Land 2 on GC (f*ck the other GC B-Man games, seriously. Polygons? WTF?).

They make a new Momotaro game every other Wednesday.

Still?  Man they are milking that license for all it is worth.

Well, its not really a "license" since its their creation, or rather their take on a pre-copyright creation.

I think Momotaro Dentetsu 15 came out for PS2 a while ago.

Franchise, license, whatever. You know what I mean.

Either way, that's nuts.

Since it'd be too ridiculous to try to list all the non-PCE Hudson games I must have, here are just the Tengai Makyou's:

SFC: Tengai Makyou Zero

Sega Saturn: Tengai Makyou: The Apocalypse IV, Tengai Makyou: The Apocalypse IV demo

Neo Geo: Kabuki Klash MVS, Tengai Makyou: Shin Den MVS, Tengai Makyou: Shin Den CD

PS2: Tengai Makyou III: Namida, Tengai Makyou II: ManjiMaru

Gamecube: Tengai Makyou II: ManjiMaru

Nintendo DS: Tengai Makyou II: ManjiMaru

PSP: Tengai Makyou: The Apocalypse IV

My ROM has a catchy island-house tune in the first level with pounding 909 drums. Is that the Yuzo or non-Yuzo version?

Finally some XEXYZ love!!  I always pronounced it Zex Eyes.

http://www.nesplayer.com/xexyz/main.htm

And yes some of the gameplay and sound effects remind me of Keith Courage.  Actually I played XEXYZ first, so KC actually reminded me of the NES classic!  I wonder if somehow the two worlds were indeed connected!!

Maybe Keith becomes Apollo in the future!

Maybe.............................

since i only know the uber jawesome yuzo version i will describe it as some kind of "late 80s/early 90s-dance-rap-breakbeat-techno "music.

here you can DL the SPC file http://www.zophar.net/zsnes/spc/sadvisl.rar :)

would be nice to get one from the other feller as well :)

Ha!  There is ONLY a Yuzo version.  Paul Stanley is a member of the shitty make-up band called KISS.  Yuzo's music is much better than anything Kiss could ever come up with.

Though in all honesty, sometimes games did change music when coming to the US.  Sonic CD for one.  I think there was a PS1 game where Tommy Tallarico redid the music as well.  Why?  I dunno.

That brings up an interesting question, I know Spencer Nielson did the Ecco CD music, but who did the cart music?

Only if you don't know who Paul Stanley is.

Probably some French guy who sounds annoying whenever he opens his mouth.  I think the only cartridge game that Spencer worked on was Sonic Spinball (which sounded like ASS).
