It'll always be Ninja Gay-den to me, although I do accidentally mispronounce it as Guy-den sometimes. I'll also never call Ryu "Ryoo". Thats just ridiculous. [-(

I like saying Rie-Ooo.  Don't spell it with a "Y" if you don't want it pronounced like that.  The correct pronunciation is "roo" like the Australian marsupial.

Who here pronounces "Ryo" as DEE YO?

I always pronounce Ryu as Rie-yuu. Sure it's not technical correct, but it's just so much more natural!  :mrgreen:

Which way is that you're addressing to the way you'll never say Ryu? Is it with the "Y" having an "E" or "I" sound?

I don't like "Ree-ooo", the way the anouncer and supposedly all of japan pronounces it.

I also don't do "Blunka" or "Zong-gee-eff" or "Bar-log". [-(
