completely different type of sockets. it wouldn't fit if you use a 16 tons sledge hammer.

My wife bought that thing too, even though we don't even have a 3DS for her to play it on.  I think the 3DSXL comes out in August though so that'll probably be what she gets.

Yeah, the 3DS XL looks enticing, but I'm going to wait a few months. As with any new console I buy, I go on a shopping spree for games, and I can't afford that onslaught right now :P

That's why I avoided the 3DS in the first place. There were barely any decent titles at launch and even months later, and I knew they would come out with a vastly superior revision a year or so later. Nintendo is even worse than Apple in this respect. Early adopters totally get screwed.

i Def wouldnt say its vastly superior to the normal 3DS. the only major change is bigger screens. But for me the screen size is fine. plus the 3DS is smaller which i prefer
