SMS Castle of Illusion is awesome. Have you played Land of Illusion? It's even better.

I played and solved castle of illusion at my uncles, it is a great game so I had to own it, Land of illusion? Is that on the Genny?

I may pick up Flash Hiders then.   Thanks Dan!  My wife will hear that you made me buy it tho....  :)

Lol!  I also should have mentioned that the female characters are, *ahem*, giggly and scantily clad. :D

I have this game but realized I'd never played it until I read this post.  Popped it in last night and it was fun, the cutscenes are amazingly well done, and I was confused at first because on scenario mode the game will actually play itself.  A 6 button pad is really needed though.  I can't wait until that Ave6 that I won in T2K's raffle to show up so I can give it a solid try.

Land of Illusion got a SMS release in Europe. Flippin' awesome and not too pricey. There was also a rare third game, Legend of illusion, by Tec Toy in Brazil, but it sucks. And then they also made the last SMS game ever - Mickey's Ultimate Challenge - but that's a completely different kind of game.

Picked up a Lion King - Game Gear bundle that comes with a blue model. Pretty cool I never saw one in person.

vestcoat, how is Iron & Blood?  I know that the game is advertised on the back of one of my Sega Saturn manuals, but it never actually came out for the system.  If it is good, then that saddens me.

Now's it's not a question of how good the game is, but whether I want to make you happy or sad!

Honestly, I haven't played I&B yet. I bought it because it was $3/shipped, I read a decent review, and I'm something of a D&D/SSI collector. My freely-acquired PS remains boxed up in the closet since I burned all of its games and sold them a few years ago. Now that I have Ultima Underworld, DW VII, and Iron and Blood, I'll have to take it out again and see if it wants to cooperate and show me a good time.

Haha, my fate is in your hands.

DW VII is one of the last RPGs I really enjoyed.  It was shortly after that game I decided that the RPG genre was regressing, rather than progressing, and I didn't have time for all of that shit.

"Your first mistake was entering the arena..."

We made fun of IB for years, it was the standard for bad games in the PS1 years. I hope you enjoy it for $3, at least it'll add to the D&D collection you have.

Being a big fan of the Mega Man X series, I had to pick up this edition of Nintendo Power. Also pictured is some candy I bought at a Japanese mart I recently found out about. Notice the Doraemon chewing gum :P

Here is some PCE goodness that I got from BlueBMW. Thank you so much!!
