At first I wanted to punch you right in the ovaries, but you have a bit of a point.  The Ys games are great and all (as are the Legend of Heroes titles), but why not some new Brandish, Popful Mail, Xanadu, or Zwei games?  More, dammit  -  I wants MOAR!
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

That one interview talked of a new IP.  I will never want Falcom to stop doing Ys, but I would love a new game.  I would love a new Popful Mail.  All 2d of course.  Never would happen though.  Probably would turn into overhead 3d hack/slash collect stuff game to please the "new" players.

Well, they did do all those Legend of Heroes games includings TitS.  Technically, splitting hairs, and crap, that is a Xanadu game, since Xanadu was Dragon Slayer 2, and then LOH was a Dragon Slayer, and it's all a Dragon Slayer and the series is a mess of confusion, but it's basically close enough, sort of. Yes.

I'd pee myself for a new Brandish.  Brandish 4 was awesome, but too long ago now.   I don't think we will ever see a new Popful Mail.  :-/

There's still the chance Xseed will bring over Brandish, I don't think there's alot to translate, though, I haven't heard any hints from any of them lately in regards to Brandish.  Whatever happens, more then anything, I want Ys games not only to come out in general, but to be released locally.  Part of me doesn't want new IP's, cuz I don't want Xseed to look at that & release that, instead of any Ys or Legend of Heroes game.  I hope we can somehow play catch up with Legend of Heroes.  Falcom is doing a Vita full voiced edition of Trails of Zero, so, maybe they'll do the same with Trails of Blue, & we'll end up getting the Vita versions after we(hopefully) get Trails in the Sky SC & TC.  They can go ahead & skip over Ys vs. Trails, since it's not cannon, I just want the main games if possible.  ...If Falcom could just spare the manpower to reprogram TitS SC so that it'll work on PSN, then that should make things alot easier for Xseed to drop the game to us stateside!
