Kes was axed from the show to focus more on Seven of Nine as the series' "hot chick".  The thing is, though, that Kes was pretty damn hot, especially when they finally let her wear her hair down.

Netflix can be a little wonky on the PS3 starting up once in a while as well. Overall though, it runs fine by me. At least with the PS3 you have the option of 5.1 surround with the HD movies on the list. It also streams without interruptions when the bandwidth changes like the Xbox360 version kicking you out and resuming. I just wish they would do an overhaul to the look of the interface. I am glad they made sub-lists for each season with TV shows along with episode description with the last update. BTW, Netflix on the Wii only displays standard definition still right?

... and that awful hologramatic doctor...

I kept thinking 'why can't he be more like Rimmer?'  It still wouldn't fit in with the show, but at least it would've been funny.

Heck yeah!  Jennifer Lien looked great with the long curls.

I have no idea if its SD-only or not. Its not like it matters with the bit rate what it is on any Netflix stream.

My biggest gripe with the PS3 version is that the menus don't support 4:3. If you play movies on an old CRT the actual movies are fine, but the menus are squeezed. Some old bullshit right there.

DS9 though....gah, I f*cking hate that show. I can't say I've really watched all that much of it, but I gave up when I realized it was the most racist thing I've ever seen. Its a racist's dream in the sense that they had to invent all new, non-human, races that were, according to the plot, the most genuine racist characters ever. Why invent characters when you can invent entire species who's behavior can be accurately judged just be seeing the starship they are traveling in?

Lol...Deep space nine is racist. Now I've heard it all. There are much better vehicles for racism that can be used other than the worst show in the star trek universe. Geordi was the only black guy with a regular character on Star Trek TNG. Maybe that one should be considered racist to?
You "everything is racist" people crack me up.

Of course Netflix on the Wii is 100% SD.  The console doesn't have the capability to do anything more than SD.

I may have mentioned this before, but when you fools need to take a break from the various Star Trek series (I stopped  regularly watching DS9 after the second season, back during its initial run, and thus totally ignorant of anything that came later):

ISIS (The Secrets of Isis) -- Isis is a totally cute. Forget about the Star Trek ladies. 70's high school teacher / super hero is all you need.
