Damn, the amount of manufacturing that went into this is phenomenal.  I'd see the pictures of it last year, but I didn't realize the scale of it was so small as well.  It looks super professional too, those are some really nice clean boards and assembly.

Man, that dude put a lot of time into that.  Nice payoff, though.

It's custom built not fully manufactured, and I believe on the last page he even says that they're not for sale.  I don't blame him though, if I spent that much time custom building something that slick I'd not want to sell it either.

He could sell it easily as a kit. He made all the PCBs and stuff, it would be a shame if that's only for like one or two devices on planet.

He even made it as far to a complete in box with manual system. This guy is crazy.

Let's hope he will produce some in future. But they won't be cheap. The parts alone costed him like 250 bucks.

The pictures explain most of it. You can run it through google translate if you want more details. A later post also links to a howto.

Being a SMS/Game Gear nerd this might be the greatest thing ever made!

Ah, that's too bad. It's one amazing custom!
Considering how professional it looks and the box and everything I assumed they were manufactured somewhere.
I wish there was a cart so I could play my SMS games through my Master System or Genesis at least.
I love me some Game Gear games and I'd love to be able to play them on a TV. (And yes, I know about emulation!)

Read/watch the whole thing and you will see that he produced everything by himself and in his very own four little walls.
