The only good part of Turrican (the music).  This should be sweet.

This truly is awesome. I am definitely going to pledge some $$$.

But, here is the MOST AWESOME aspect of this entire project: if you pledge $7,500 or more, you will get a whole bunch of stuff including these highlights...
Quote
Weekly personal Skype sessions with Chris about the status of the project with special insights into the production work flow + 2 Tickets to the November 16th 2012 Concert in Cologne and a personal lunch or meeting with Chris on the same day or by special arrangement + Chris composes a full piece of music (up to 5 minutes) exclusively for you, for your game project or whatever you need it for!

Naturally, I'm going to tell "Chris" (as I call him) to compose a 5-minute "Ode to Blodia" (or "Tricky Kick", I can't decide).

Oh my.  I was actually playing Turrican to my Ex in an explanation about chiptunes and videogame music being as good as most of the dance stuff released today.  I think I chose the wrong pice of music, but yeah.  I think I want this soundtrack.

The eternal question still looks before us:

Does this German fellow still have it? Or is he washed-up, recycling and re-packaging the fruits of his youth?

I'm still going to buy this, but I wonder about those questions.

Damn, how many time I came back from school, fired up my amiga with turrican II loaded, just to endlessloop-listen to the title/intro of it for hours.
