I'll be there - Galloping Ghost has to be seen to be believed; so amazing. Should be an awesome time.

If anyone would like to split a hotel let me know - it's far enough away from Milwaukee that it makes more sense to just stay overnight.

Also - for the Chicagoland folks, I went out with some buddies to Emporium in Wicker Park a couple weekends ago - it's like Brooklyn's BarCade but with a different vibe. A little on the hipster side for my taste but they have some nice cabinets in there and a really good beer list: http://emporiumchicago.com/

PM sent. Anyone else looking to split a hotel in case this does not work out? Planning to arrive Friday but I can work with you.

So what's the closest hotel to the turbofest and where are other turbobs going to stay?  I haven't started looking it.

SignofZeta: What a quintessentially PCEFX thread. Someone complains about nothing, multiple Bible-length posts discussing who's a bigger a$$hole follow. You're both pretty big a$$holes. Let's call it a tie.

I've never wanted to drive anywhere less in my life...  is anyone thinking of flying in?  What is the approximate cost of a cab from the airport to the arcade?  Is the arcade in a place where I can easily catch a cab to the airport?

Depends - if you're flying into midway it's probably about a 20 minute drive. I'd say it's about 40 minutes from O'Hare (don't believe google map's estimates - you have to account for shitty illinois traffic).

Galloping Ghost is kind of out in the 'burbs a bit - not downtown at all. Depending on what kinds of deals you get you might be better off renting a cheap car for the trip. It's not like you're going to be able to walk out of your hotel and go to GG.

Is the gang up for another bank-breaking trip to that badass retro gaming store downtown?

That Frys is about 10 min way from me.  They sell all kinds of cool stuff there kinda like a Best Buy on steroids.  Lots of steroids.

I can fly to match anothers arrival time, I have no prob chilling at O'hare waiting(there is a bar, right?!) for someone so we can split the cab or even better, call the BlueBMW Taxi Express! My Friday arrival options are: 8:29am, 10:50am, 12:41pm, 3:26pm, 5:16pm, 7:12pm, 9:24pm.

Public transport looks like 2 hour trek but you pass right by GG on the way to Red Roof. (I think out-of-towners should all stay in the same hotel so we can after party!)

Man I wish you guys could have this closer for some of us on the west coast, that would be so cool. Oh well, maybe someday when I make a bundle of money we will go.

Wondering if y'all are interested in bringing turbobs for trading and such?

I'll be bringing all of my Turbo trade swag, and I hope that others do so also.

@jeffhlewis

So, what is this really good retro gaming store downtown that you speak of?
