From what I can remember, the dude with his back to the camera in the back is Ope playin' Neo Geo with CDamm. Backwards cap guy on the couch is none other than our own Hizaygizanazay, who happened to win the Sonic Spike Beach Volley Ball World Championships with my friend Loong!
I believe Bardoly is the dude standing playing Bloody Wolf. Also from what I recall, Bardoly said he had yet to play Bloody Wolf and I looked at him like he just said "Super Mario, sounds fun! How do you play it?". o.O
Good times. I'm gonna work on that video tonight and hopefully have a link up super soon.
Thanks for the scoop. Of course, that means that 90% of the folks in this photo remain a mystery! Ha!
Now, as far as Bloody Wolf is concerned...I CONCUR 100%. I love me some Bloody Wolf, and since PCE got the only console port, Bardoly was in for a treat. NEVER PLAYED BLOODY WOLF? Surely, you're joking Mr. Feynman...
In the infamous words of
, "Nope! Not kidding!"
Yes, it's true. I had never played Bloody Wolf before this year's Octurbofest that can remember. It seemed to be an okay game, but I just got a taste of it before trying out Beemer's copies of
Sylphia and
Faussete Amour.
Sylphia seemed to be a decent shooter, but for the $200-300 price that's it has been seen at lately, I find it rather hard to price it that high. It seems that there are much better shoot-'em-ups out there for the PC Engine that go for far less.
Faussete Amour on the other hand, I rather enjoyed playing, although I never really felt like I could get the spinning jump attack down. I actually played the game for an hour or more and got to the boss of level four before having to pack it up. This game was already on my potential want list, and after playing it, it still is. I would just like to be able to find it for $40-60 cheaper than the $110-120 that it's currently priced at on eBay and elsewhere. As someone at Octurbofest mentioned, "Dracula X: Rondo of Blood is a better game.", so I'd like to find Faussete Amour for a cheaper price than I got my copy of Dracula X for, so if anyone has a copy that they's like to trade/sell, then let me know.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to next year's Octurbofest! Or if this can be done more often, that would be great, too!
