Yeah, it works OK for Pads, but not for Taps.

yeah, missed that part 'til after I posted..... Never bothered to open a Turbo pad 'til today. I've opened other controllers before, usually to clean them/un-jam a stuck button. Never had to do that with a Turbo pad.

Wonder why that is? The TurboPads never seemed to get gunked up like Genesis or SNES controllers did...although I've had to fix the turbo switches a few times because the contacts bend out of range after heavy use (I'm talking months of continually switching the switches)...just bend them back, and you're good to go for another few months of heavy use. :D

I spilled beer on a TurboPad once. Button I got real flakey soon after.

Cleaning inside didn't help the problem. That 'Pad quickly became an organ donor.
