Card battle games on our retro systems

there was a game for the PS1, I think, that you could put in CD's and it would create all sorts of creatures from it, is that the one you are thinking off?

I love 'em.  Well, I say "them", I don't really like Magic, but I totally got into YuGiOh once, and I think as an idea, it's very well thought out, and still fun.

agreed, YGO is fun, but magic and the pokemans just seem to have too much superfluous crap for me.

I did too   I have fond memories back in the day of waking up at Donnas house before we lived together, and she'd make me a cup of tea, and I'd sit in bed watching it every morning
