Nope. Back in mid-94 when Black Pearl was working on the Genesis Time Killers THQ was working on a Snes version, but they canned it along with alot of other projects. This was probably a good thing, because if you take a look at THQ games from that time period, you will be hard pressed to find a good one among them.
Hunt for Red October,The Rocketeer, and the ultra censored, crappy missing weapons, characters, and graphics arcade port of Pit-Fighter.
Most of their games were of this calibur, sucking hard.
Black Pearl finished Time Killers in late 94 for the Genesis, but the game got shelved. It finally got released during 96 with some effort by Data East USA and used Akklaim made genesis cases. Some even used the cart shells from Akklaim. You could tell ebcause Akklaim had their logo on the back of cart shells and molded into the cases they made.Basically they trew it together to get it out there. It was advertised by Data East along with the port of OutRunners on Genesis and some other cart.
If you look on ebay you will find a Genesis cart, but its getting harder to find oen complete in the case with booklet. Theh game is uncommon as it is because of its small release and it has a cult following.
Its also funny because this game was accused of cashing in on Mortal Kombats blood gig,but it was infact Time Killers that came out first,by a few months, back in 92.Not just that but the game played way better then MK1. There was actually some combos, and way more moves. If youd like me to,I can take pics of the genesis version running, and the arcade game running so you can compare.I have one of my 2 non-workings that will run a demo fine as long as I dont start a game, and as long as the audio pcb is disconnected.
