I have a stack of Playboys that I can't seem to part with even though I know I'll never open 'em again.

cause the pages are stuck!

Beat me to it.

My dads got the first issue one with Marilyn in it.  Found it in a garbage can down in Alabama

Guess Marilyn wasn't as hot as BillyBob's sister.

-I have the entire U.S. Sega Master System library, sans the US-released Sonic (I have the PAL one, which is literally the same exact thing minus a UPC sticker and about $990 cheaper) and James Buster Douglas Boxing (which just went on the 'bay for $300). I'll have to shell out to truly complete the collection unfortunately

-I collect anything and everything Outrun - I have every major console release both U.S. and Japanese, just need to collect the portable versions

-Ditto for Phantasy Star

I have a collection of Boy scout patches/uniforms/ ect.  Also have a collection of scientific articles . . .
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

I thought this had to be gaming related...

I have a bunch of signed 80s horror movie posters and a large collection of horror movies on the now outdated DVD format.

Sticking with consoles? Well, when you run out of home versions, you and Blue can fight over arcade releases:

For my "insignificant's", I have 11 arcade cabs, of which 7 are candy. Impressive to some, but for me it is Thursday.

Also, I have a DIY HT in my basement. Only thing I bought was a receiver for $100, everything else was hand-me-downs. Max res is 1024x768 for the PJ but I have 5.1 w/ the ".1" being a 300 watt 15" sub. When the lights go off, you can't see the clutter/mess.

Waaay ahead of you - I've got a deluxe upright Outrun cabinet and about $1,000 in NOS replacement parts ready to restore it with. And a non-suicide chipped revision B motherboard with custom ICs to enable extra features.

There was a motorized sit-down unit on Craigslist in Chicago but since I live in a downtown apartment, that shit ain't happening unfortunately.

I would purchase a Turbo Outrun cab but I refuse to acknowledge that turd of a game as Outrun canon.

Umm, I have a complete Sega 32X Collection?  Everyone hates the f*cking 32X.

Oh!  I have every release of Popful Mail:
Sega CD (3 copies), Mega CD, PC Engine (2 copies), Super Famicom (2 copies), PC-98 (all perfectly complete), plus most of the audio drama CDs and a cool looking Working Designs Popful Mail hat and pins.
I really like Popful Mail a lot.

I'm going to have to disqualify this entry. Complete 32X collections look cool, see?
http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?22161-Finally-completed-my-North-American-32x-collection

Also, everybody likes to collect them because it's such a tiny library and nothing costs more than $200.

Here's what an insignificant 32X collection looks like (no Blackthorne, missing 1/3 of the most valuable boxes, and I just ordered a manual for the Genesis version of Primal Rage because I'm too cheap to complete my 32x copy):

Here's mine, I still need to sell off a lot of my duplicates though ;)

Is that Space Harrier for the 32X?

I didn't realize that was the size of its library.

Did Sega ever release a 32X/Genesis/CD combo?
