Hey Turbo Sage, you've got one hell of a collection. I was drooling over your stuff for awhile at the show. Sorry I didn't have anything more to offer in trade than some NGPC stuff

hehe, no worries man,  it was a blast to hang with some people that game turbo!

As for my collection I traded away about 6 Turbo games     I gained one Sega CD game and 9 Jaguar games... thats good right???

I got rid of Lords of the Rising sun, Magical Dinosaur Tour, Fighting Street(Im gonna miss that one), Implode(sorry BT), and something else I can't think of at the moment.

But I think I made up for the losses with the games I got and the $$ I made, along with one of the best weekends evar!!  And I TOTALLY cannot wait until next years!!!

MGC '07 June 9th and 10th.  2007!!!

Because I am interested into starting to sell on ebay- and you may see a great deal of my stuff there.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I recently uploaded a article I wrote about the MGC for my website and it includes 45 pictures (maybe more). Enjoy! http://www.lazerdorks.org/stunningarticles/mgc/index.html

Aha! I was hoping people would be able to point out themselves in any of my pictures! I can't recall if I remember seeing you, but I probably have multiple times.

Keranu, nice job on the article and photos.

To respond to one of the comments you made in the article, the big Atari "Video Game Selection Center" thing in the museum was just a store display unit. Back in the day, they had these set up at department and discount stores to demo Atari VCS games. You just picked the game you wanted to try before you buy, and could play 'til someone kicked you off. I remember playing Atari games on that unit myself when I was a kid. They were always interesting because they had high-quality built-in joystick and paddle controls, and the fire buttons were arcade-style. Anyway, that particular unit that was at the MGC was the Sears version, because as you probably know, Sears marketed the 2600 and Intellivision consoles under their own brand name.

I was really quite excited to see that particular piece of hardware -- it brought back some very vivid memories! :D

Ahh, thanks for filling me in. That's what we expected it to be, but just weren't sure and haven't seen it before. It sure is cool though!

Hey Guys,

We did one more interview with Martin Alessi and Trickman Terry from the old EGM days.  They're now both working on a new magazine and website called www.retroplayer.tv along with Sushi X and others.  In the interview, they talk about the magazine and reveal the identity of Sushi X.

Check it out here:
http://www.teamfremont.com/teamfremontlive.shtml

It's the 6/12 episode.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

I haven't read the article yet, but I always thought Sushi X was just a random, different person assigned on a month by month basis? His opinions didn't always seem consistent to me...

Don't worry, I'll read the article :)

I saw some pics of that after party on Jay Dog's YouTube series, looked like you guys had a lotta fun. I heard Moe is really good at that Guitar Hero game.
