IDK if to be sad or happy, THQ games sucked. it's happy  :)
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

For the most part, yes. But it always bums me out when an "old school" dev/pub goes down. Being a retro gamer, I appreciate the companies that have been around the block. I quite enjoyed saints row 3.

I hope their stuff gets picked up and finished.  I really wanted that South Park game and it has already been delayed twice.
Gypsies did it.

Honestly, I just want more Red Faction games.  I've really gotten into that series.  And I ended up loving the one that everyone ripped on, Armageddon/RF 4.  I thought I'd miss the sandbox style gameplay, but I found it ridiculously fun, & actually played it thru twice, which is unheard of for me.

Someone remind me of some good THQ games that came out back in the day?  I honestly can't think of any.

Yeah, BITD, I can't think of any offhand.  My recollection of them even being around is only from the PS2 days on up, & I don't consider that BITD.

The stuff Relic has made for them has always been top notch. I'm looking forward to the new Company of Heroes, along with the other important up coming THQ title, Metro: Last Light.

FYI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_THQ_games

Looking it over now...

EDIT:  They really didn't do anything in the 8/16-bit realm that I cared for, but I still have my original copy of Ghost in the Shell for the PS1 (hoping to someday beat, but holy-moly it gets hard!).

Looking through the list, the next game that really stood out for me was Titan Quest, which I still have installed on my PC because it's a great Diablo-ish game.

The Warhammer 40k games are neat, but I hoped they had been better.
