I've been in touch with Dean (D-Lite) who thinks he might possibly have one. I'm waiting to hear back but that might be someone to reach out to.

There is a broken one on the bay for $80. I'm sure it would need a recap and lens job though.

The scary thing about buying broken ones from Japan is the shipping charges. I have been burned a few times myself and other times gotten very lucky so it's a big gamble. Meaning sometimes the repair is easy and other times end up with a $100 paper weight.

IS D-Lite still active on Multimods.com?  I sent him a email through that site.  If not, I'll hit him up with a PM.

I reached out to him on multimods and on ebay. He responded and said he had gotten both. I've not heard back from him in over 2 weeks, but as I am not in a hurry, he doesn't have any of my money and I am aware that he gets tied up, I'm not worried.

After six months of waiting for an answer, I gave up on him.

It's been a month for me at this point so I think I'll be moving on somewhere else. Nice guy, we spoke several times, but when it came to crunch time, we lost touch. I e-mailed him last week and asked if he was still interested in selling me something, no response. I'm a nice guy, easy to work with, patient. I think that a month is patience enough.

I've seen them in yahoo japanese auctions going for around $300 USD. If you have a way to buy from there, it's an option. Check them with this link:

http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?p=PC%E3%82%A8%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B8%E3%83%B3+RX&auccat=&aq=-1&oq=&ei=UTF-8&tab_ex=commerce&slider=0

I recently bought there a Megadrive + Mega CD 1 combo, both boxed, and both for under $100. So, sometimes you can find great deals!

That's a shame. He could have a nice thing going. From what I have read, he does really good work and apparently has a nice stash he can work on. I'll still buy from him up until the time I find a Duo-R or Duo-RX from someone else.

Thanks everyone for posts.  I have been able to score an RX from a forum member.

I've conversed with D-Lite in the past.  I'm off/on this forum every year or so too. Hard to juggle so many hobbies with life/work/fammy.
