Can anyone explain why certain areas have a digital blur on them in some hentai? I'm not sure i understand the purpose of this.

Also, how does Valis X play? Is this just one of those choose your path movie type deals, or a real game with hentai in it? Has anyone purchased it? I can't read Japanese so I can't get very far in the download site.

There are actually lots of cheap complete and incomplete YS I & II's on eBay now.

Its called censorship. They have laws there now that require things to be blured out pubic hair wise or some crap.
In the end it means we sometimes get better versions of Hentai anime like Kite unrated.

I think it may have also had something to do with the US,them trying to appease us somehow. I read that somewhere that the US was placing pressure on the Japanese government about things like porn and laws and such.

This could all be garbage,nonsense,whatever. I dont know. Back when I was reading about that was when I read about the panty shops and the tv aired King of Ejaculation tournaments they had.

It's to comply with Sofurin standards. Sofurin is an organization formed in the early 90s by the ero-game industry to keep the Japanese govt. off their backs.

I assume it's standard yaru-ge faire where the only point of the game is to click through mindless plot/dialogue to get a 100% CG collection. It won't be ready for release until 4-21-06 according to the official site.

You look at pictures, read dialogue, and occasionally pick a choice to influence the story.

The game was released on 3-17 to Telenet's site.  Other download sites will start carrying the game on 4-21.  Telenet gives themselves a one month bonus  

Currently, it's not possible to play the game unless you live in Japan.  You can sign up for an account and even download the file, but playing the game requires an internet connection and "full registration" (which means giving them your credit card info, and giving them your Japanese address info... which has to match the credit card billing address).
