I'm generally skeptical as hell, but Sony nailed it with their press conference. They drove a stake through Microsoft in every conceivable way.

Yup I am gonna stick with current gen for a few more years before I buy the next ones.  Sony are taking the Microsoft approach to online gaming tho..  You need psn+ for the multiplayer

Well, it looks like I'll be eventually picking up a PS4, given that good games are released.  Infamous 3 is one, as long as it doesn't suck.  And I'll get the new MGS's, though, for MGS 5, I think I'll wait for a bundle.  The PS4 itself, it'll probably be another year or 2 or 3 before I get one....unless something crazy like a new Ys or Suikoden hits it.....then I may have a problem!  I do wish there was a price drop for Vita announced, but maybe there's still time for that?

Where can you preorder it already? I see it at Gamestop for preorder, but you have to bundle it with some sports games and its either $460 or $580. I just want the basic console for $400...

Sony killed it lol. But I was gonna wait until a year or 2 passes before I possibly get a PS4 or Xbox one. Nintendo is gonna end the morning in the lead and watching Sony and MS bicker lol.

Best Buy is the way to go, cause you can pre-order ship to store and just get it there the day it comes out.

I am pretty happy with everything they showed, except that I now must become a PS+ member to play online.  Ohh well, I can live with that.  They do give a ton of free games, etc.

I've given up on this great next gen gaming systems. Both Sony and MS are in such a rush to take the lead that they both forgot about what sells the system gamers want and that's GAMES. I was and always will be a Turbo/Nintendo fanboy as those are the 2 companys I grew up with. I do own a PS3 and 360 so forgive me if I sound lime a duh here but if these supposedly next gen systems are so great and powerful then why are all the new games coming out also coming out on last gen systems? Why are PS4 and X1 games being released on PS3 and 360 even the WiiU. Makes me wonder is all. I will stick with Nintendo as they are the only true video game manufacturer still operating today.

The last major release was (the last of us) for the PS3.As for the reason why third party are releasing games for it still is because the PS3&360 still have a user base to sell to.Sure the PS4 and Xboxone are due this fall,but third parties don't expect there will be lot's of early adopters for when they launch.Nintendo being the true manufacture !? Now what is that suppose to mean the big'n has been slow to support the (wii u) while there putting more into the 3DS.

Lol yea I know a lot of people won't be early adopters and developers need to release on everything to try to make a profit. Yes Nintendo is the last video game company that's only making video games. E3 week is gonna be huge for them.

That's why i think these third parties are double dipping on these late release.Sure the economy is recovering but at a slow rate currently,also not every body will have the $ to buy a Xboxone&PS4 at the launch.Still after i heard the PS4 will have no DRM and no 24 hour connect bs.That makes it a easy choice for me the PS4 it is but not at the launch.Maybe next year or so for me but i'll see at this point.As for nintendo id assume 'there will be showing mostly first party titles and not much for the thirds.
