^^^fixed, lol.

It should.  I'm basing this off of how flashcart/card readers for MSX work and handle multi disk games.

What about multi-disc games. Can I play games such as Abe's Exodus or Final Fantasy that use more than one disc?Yes. This will be supported. Whilst playing your game, you can simply bring up a menu (using a button combination) that will allow you to mount a different CD-ROM or we will simulate a disc swap. This will all depend how the prototype performs during our tests. More information regarding this feature will be explained later on.

From their website:

What about the PSone / SCPH-900x PlayStation's?The PSone (Sony's re-designed mini PlayStation 1) and SCPH-900x series, will not be plug-and-play since they do not have a Parallel Port.To get around this, we have a special version that will not include the PIO header connector on the PCB.You will then need to solder from PSIO's PIO header, to the PlayStation mainboard manually.

The only bad thing is you need one of the early PS1 consoles that have the defunked Parallel Port on the back (that wasn't used), which was dropped on all later models.

Seems like a pretty neat device.  Finding old PS1 systems for cheap shouldn't be a problem.  The last time I was at my local thrift shop there were a good number of older PS1 systems for under $10.

Oh man I need one.  I sealed up all my PS1 games in bags to sit on the shelf, would save some hassle.

Just came across this, and I must say I am pretty stoked.  This is something I would love to see made for the Duo, but here is one for the PS1 system.  :)

Got some recent info on this bad boy.  Hopefully, it will be ready soon.  New video here, and it is showing what appears to be an almost finished product.

Yeah, I know the feeling.  Can't be much longer tho.  I am assuming he is making sure there are no major bug in the OS.

More information on this? I used to have a link saved but the page went down...

I want to say there is some hardware modding involved is the psiso install - not totally plug and play...not that that matters I guess. I have 3 playstations so I might do this to one of them when its released.
