Just came across this, and I must say I am pretty stoked.  This is something I would love to see made for the Duo, but here is one for the PS1 system.  :)

So far looks cool, but needs a boot menu and right now looks like in the video for initial boot it has to be connected to a Pc. Still, possibilities are good that this can end up being a pretty awesome device for the thing.

I like it.  Funny, I was holding my PS1 this weekend while organizing and was remembering I bought a similar device the was supposed to emulate PCE roms.  That never worked!

This is something I wouldn't mind owning.  Thanks for sharing!

Hopefully, that is just something for the beta version.  I would think it wouldn't need a PC once it has gone into the production stage.  I will be staying tuned.  :)

The only bad thing is you need one of the early PS1 consoles that have the defunked Parallel Port on the back (that wasn't used), which was dropped on all later models.

Wasn't this thing still on the console all the way up to the 75001? If so, it should be pretty much everywhere. I know I've got at least 4 or 5 Playstations lying around and I'm almost certain they've all got it. Shouldn't be too hard to run into one, I figure.

Read that on Assmebler already few weeks ago.
PCE would be nice tho.. don't have to take out teh CDs anymore, broken laser gear-wheels etc. your mom. ...lol

All huey and CD obey, on a small micro SD card, attached on the PCEs extention port :)
