Super Hang-On vs. Outrun 2019

So I was playing Super Hang-On on my Genesis, and it got me thinking...it's really not as great as people say.  It could just be because I'm terrible at it, but I definitely don't enjoy it as much as Outrun 2019.  Yeah...I know...mostly useless topic.  I'm just curious as to what the masses think of these two.

Super hang on on arcade/3ds/peke only.

In Japanese, Peke = X.  It's the old school Japanese fan name for the Sharp X68000.  And yeah peke Super Hangon is awesome, especially if you have the analog stick, the MIDI is quite nice too imo.

Not quite yet in the western fields, but they are promissed to come over during this fall.ยจ

-> Galaxy force II, Super Hang on and Space Harrier in all its glory and 3D as dowloadables.

and yeah, I still think those are the best reason to get hands on a 3DS, that's why I eventually got one  :lol:

...but Super Hang-On is better than Outrun 2019.

I must just really suck at it, then.  I guess I'm spoiled by all the speshul effex in 2019, and the fact that you can nudge something on the side of the road without wiping out completely & basically losing immediately.

So far I enjoy Genesis Super Hang-On compared to Peke version. Actually saying that is just retarded... the X68000 version. But I've only played it once so that opinion is subject to change. At least I can play the Genesis version right away instead of waiting over a minute for it to load.

So Tats, how are those 3DS versions? Do they play well? Good 3D? Anything of interest to note?

Outrun 2019 is better than Super Hang On, but Super Hang on has the better music by far.
