Emulator. If I had real hardware they wouldn't be genuine first time plays.

It is a terrible game but I was extremely determined in my youth.

I just stumbled on this thread......i am very happy youre playing NES. i did not read through the 25 pages entirely....but please...play these 2: Excitebike. And a personal favorite....Balloon Fight!  Balloon fight is simple....but very challenging. I always had fun with it.

I never did properly beat the game.  I used the old password hack changing the first 2 letters FE or EF to get powerful boost so I could do all 7 bells and finish it.  I really need to do this proper one day, exploring various hidden dungeons and buying powerups the slow way.
